Holiday Emergancy- COMMISSIONS! Please...

Sun Dec 14, 2008, 12:55 AM
Here's the thing - Once every holiday vacation my family goes on a skiing trip. This year we don't have the money, but it's all mother can talk about - so I want to get together some money to help her pay for the trip as her Christmas present!

Can't... pay for a skiing vacation with two dollar commissions, though, I'm so sorry! But! I will leave cheap mystery surprise commissions up for grabs still if you don't have much, everything helps!

PRICES:
$2.50(it would be just two, but PayPal has a transaction fee, which totally sucks, sorry!)
Mystery drawing! I will draw either a masterpiece, or the sketchiest of sketchy sketch for you based on how much I like or am inspired by your request.
$5
Clean portrait drawing (b&w)
$10
Clean full-body drawing 1 person(b&w)
$18*
Clean full-body drawing 2 people (b&w)
$20
color and shading drawing 1 person.
$28*
color and shading drawing 2 people.
$35+
Pay me 35 dollars or more and I will put all my effort into making you the most awesome of awesome drawings that I can. It will be colored, shaded, and rendered, and possibly have a background. Only restriction with this is number of characters, the following rule applies:

*Characters: Each additional character after two cost five dollars each.

If you end up loving your drawing, tips are loved! D: Seriously just want to go skiing with my Mom really badly. So. Let me be your artistic slave, please and thank you.

Please pay me after I draw your pictures and not before! For more expensive drawings, I will show you a preview of the under drawing, you give me half, then I'll finish it, and you can pay me the rest. That's chill. :) if you want a different method, just ask!
Payments through paypal, please!

If you'd like a drawing, just send me a note! If for some reason I really can't do your request I'll politely tell you so. I'm so sorry if for some reason it doesn't work out, but it should! So... I hope to hear from you soon!

I've been okay.
Stressing a bit over money. I can't go to fall quarter; I had my application rolled to winter, but I still don't have a job to pay the enrolment fees. And my parents are downright refusing to help me out, even a bit. I mean, we're in debt, but somehow, my mom could buy a $700 dell laptop for herself but she can't help me. I even suggested that they could split the cost and they said no. I don't know how hard it is to set aside a hundred dollars or so every pay cheque to help me go to college. That's all I need, everything else, I'm getting loans and shit for. I dunno. It's just really stressful and I haven't been able to draw much because of it. Because I don't have a job, I feel like I'm slacking off and as a result, whenever I start drawing, it feels like I'm continuing to slack off. I'm just running out of time and my social anxiety makes it hard to get applications, though I am trying.

when applying for jobs, people like people who are confidant! and you're deff a pleasant, happy, and enjoyable person to be around. So keep searching, I have confidance that you'll find a comfortable nitch somewhere. That initial fee is like 500, right? I remember gaining about that much just doing daycare, tutoring, and ababysitting jobs over the summer :) maybe you could look into elementary schools? They're usually pretty generous if you're kind~ don't feel like a slacker if you're drawing! You're going to be spending the rest of your life drawing, and the only way to prepare for that is to draw as much as you can. Starting now, the more time you spend drawing is the more time you dedicate to your career :) Do it as much as you can! I'm really excited to see you here, Jen, I'm more than confidant that things will work out for you!
